The cashmere
100% cashmere isn't always
100% cashmere.
Every label says the same thing.
What's underneath decides how it feels — and how long it lasts.

01 — FINENESS
Fine fibres bend.
Thick ones poke.
Cashmere itches because of the few thicker fibres mixed in. Too stiff to bend, they press into your skin.
We use only the finest: every fibre is under 15.5 microns — about four times finer than a human hair.
Too fine to poke. So you can wear it on bare skin.
02 — LENGTH
Long fibres stay put.
Every fibre has two ends. Loose ends rub together and roll into little balls — that's pilling.
Our fibres are over 36mm long, the top of the scale. Fewer ends, held tighter in the yarn.
So it stays clean far longer.
03 — WARMTH
Four strands,
twisted into one.
Each yarn is spun from four strands of cashmere, then knitted close in a full rib.
About 540 g in size M — heavy and dense, so it holds the warmth in.
Made for deep winter: one layer where you'd usually need three.
04 — SHAPE
Still round,
winter after winter.
Most collars are knitted as a single layer. Over a few winters, they stretch and turn wavy.
Ours is knitted in two layers — just like the cuffs and the hem. It keeps its shape, and slowly settles to your neck.
It doesn't wear out. It wears in.

05 — THE LABEL
Reach behind
your own neck.
Most sweaters have a stiff label there — even expensive ones.
Ours is a soft, suede-like microfibre, engraved with your edition number.
You won't feel it. Not on the first day, not in the tenth winter.

06 — THE INSIDE
A lighter tone,
on the inside.
Turn back the collar or a cuff, and you'll find a lighter shade: Wheat, a soft beige.
The same grade of cashmere, spun finer — softer still at your neck and wrists.
No one else will see it. It isn't meant for them.
An honest word
All cashmere pills a little.
A light fuzz may appear where the sweater rubs — under the arms, at the sides. It's most noticeable in the first weeks.
These are loose ends working their way out. Gently comb them away with a cashmere comb, whenever you notice them.
With long fibres, far fewer come than with cheap cashmere — and with a little care, even fewer over time.
Three countries, one sweater
The edition
25 pieces.
Then never again.
Each one carries its own number. When the edition is gone, this sweater will not be made again.
Questions
Everything you might ask.
The cashmere
Will it itch?
No. Itching comes from fibres too thick to bend. Every fibre in ours is over 15.5 microns — fine enough to wear on bare skin.
Is it really 100% cashmere?
Yes. 100% cashmere, nothing blended in — no wool, no nylon, no silk. Including the lighter cashmere on the inside.
Will it pill?
A little, in the first weeks — all cashmere does. Because the fibres are long, there are far fewer loose ends, so it settles quickly. A cashmere comb removes the first fuzz in a minute.
Why is the inside a different colour?
The collar, cuffs and hem are lined in Wheat, a soft beige cashmere of the same grade, spun finer. It feels even softer where the sweater touches you — and it's a detail only you will know about.
How heavy is it?
About 540 g in size M — noticeably heavier than most cashmere sweaters. That weight is where the warmth comes from.
What colour is it?
The body is Toast, a warm, muted brown. The collar, cuffs and hem are lined in Wheat, a soft beige. Colours may look slightly different on your screen.
Will it be too warm indoors?
Cashmere breathes, so it stays comfortable inside. But it is a winter piece — on a mild day, you will feel its warmth.
Are the goats harmed?
No. Cashmere is combed from the goats' soft undercoat in spring, when they shed it naturally. They are not sheared.
Fit
How does it fit?
A regular fit — close to the body, not oversized. The model is 183 cm / 74 kg and wears size M. The size guide shows every measurement and suggests a size for you.
Can women wear it?
Yes. It's cut for men, so on women it falls a little more relaxed. The surest way to choose: compare the measurements in the size guide with a sweater you love.
I'm between two sizes.
Take the smaller size for a closer fit, the larger one for room to wear a shirt underneath. And if it doesn't fit, we exchange it for free — as long as your size is still available.
Is the collar tight?
It sits close to the neck, as a good crew neck should — snug, not tight.
Will it shrink or stretch?
Not with the right care. The double-layered collar, cuffs and hem are made to hold their shape.
Care
How do I clean it?
Rarely. Airing it out overnight is usually enough. When it needs more, we recommend a professional cleaner. Hand washing is possible too: cold water, a wool detergent, never wring, dry flat.
How do I store it?
Folded, never on a hanger — it would stretch the shoulders. Somewhere dry, with a little cedar wood against moths.
The edition
What does "1 of 25" mean?
Only 25 pieces exist. Each one carries its own number, engraved into the label.
Can I choose my number?
Numbers are assigned at random. If a particular number matters to you, write to us before you order — if it's still available, it's yours.
Will there be more?
No. When the 25 are gone, this sweater will not be made again.
How does it arrive?
Wrapped in tissue paper, sealed with wax, in a magnetic box with a name written inside by hand. Each piece comes with a calfskin hang tag, embossed with the GIVERDI logo and laser-engraved with its number (e.g. 13 of 25).
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. There is never an invoice or a price in the box — it comes by email. Send it straight to the recipient, and change the name on the box in your cart.
Delivery & returns
When will it arrive?
Dispatched within 1–2 business days. Austria, Germany & Benelux: 3–6 business days. Switzerland, the UK & the USA: 5–10 business days.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing. For Switzerland, the UK and the USA, import duties and taxes may apply; they are collected on delivery.
What if it doesn't fit?
Return it within 30 days, free of charge — we send you a prepaid label. Or exchange it for another size, also free, while that size is still available.
